Our Projects

EWP Renewable Corporation (EWPRC) owns and operates power generation facilities in North America. Our projects and management expertise is focused on the biomass, natural gas and cogeneration market segments.

Fairhaven Biomass Power Plant
The 18.75 MW Fairhaven biomass plant located in Northern California addresses the significant distribution limitations for the importation of power from generation stations hundreds of miles away.

Whitefield Biomass Power Plant
The Whitefield power plant began operations in 1988 and currently produces 19.7 MWs of generation. The plant maintains exceptional reliability and environmental standards and has sustained a dependable record of power availability, averaging over 95% for the past 10 years.

Springfield Biomass Power Plant
Located in western New Hampshire, this 19.7 MW biomass plant, which has a similar Power Island and boiler design to that of the Whitefield plant also located in New Hampshire, began operation in 1987. The plant's operating performance has always been steady with the net capacity factor of the plant averaging above 98% for the past 5 years.

Red Bluff Power Plant
The Red Bluff Project entered commercial operation in August, 2001, and consists of 16 Wartsila 18V220SG spark ignition natural gas-fueled reciprocating engines. Each 18 cylinder engine is rated at 2.8 MW for a total plant net rating of 44.8 MW. Energy produced by Red Bluff is dispatched into the CAISO NP15 region.

Chowchilla Power Plant
The Chowchilla Project entered commercial operation in July, 2001 and consists of 16 Deutz GmbH Model TBG 632 spark ignition natural gas-fuelled reciprocating engines. Each 16 cylinder engine is rated at 3.1 MW for a total plant net rating of 49.6 MW. Chowchilla is dispatched into the CAISO NP15 region.
